Dr Muhammad Makram Balawi is a Jordanian\Palestinian academic and writer based in Istanbul. He is the founder and president of the Asia Middle East Forum (AMEF), the Director General of League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds (LP4Q) and the acting president of Union of Palestinian Academics (UPA). Dr Balawi is the Chief Editor of Asia Post, a quarterly Arabic magazine specialised in Asian Relation, published in printed form and electronically. Moreover, he is a prolific writer who is best known for his writings on Asian relations and the Palestinian cause. His articles have been translated into at least 13 languages.
