Zarefah Baroud is a PhD candidate at the University of Exeter’s European Centre for Palestine Studies where she studies the origins and legacy of Israeli carceral policy in the OPT. Baroud received her Master’s degree in Policy Studies from the University of Washington, where she researched American aid programs to the Israeli military. She also serves as the Digital Media Associate for American Muslims for Palestine.
