Mariam Al Jaajaa is the General Manager of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN). She holds a BA in International Development from Leeds University, a Graduate Diploma in Economics, and a MSc in Development Economics from SOAS – University of London. Mariam has written papers on the subjects of food security, environment and land tenure, and has facilitated international and Arab civil society delegations in international platforms to address the right to food and environmental protection and accountability in the context of war and occupation.
